My Girl is growing up FAST!

So my girl is growing up faster than I want her to.  I miss my baby but she is growing into a beautiful young lady! 

She has started second grade and so far so good and LOVES second grade.  I think this year is going to be the BEST year yet.  This is the first time her teacher has actually sent a note home everyday to let us know how good it has been going.  I actually had homework to do for her.  Her teacher asked the parents to write a letter telling her about our children in a million words or less.  I finally finished it up tonight. 

I love my child and can’t believe how much she has matured this summer. 

We haven’t been up to much other than getting back into a routine this week.  The first week is always the hardest.

A couple weeks ago we went to see Matt in Alma and it was so nice to get away for the weekend.  The Ozark National Forrest is an amazing beautiful place. 

Well not much has been going on so I guess this is a pretty boring post sorry guys.

Wow Has it Really Been 4 Weeks?

So I guess it is time for a little recap.  I have been super busy, well for me I have been.  Spent some time with my wonderful husband.  I am still after a year just getting through it.  I can’t say that it has gotten easier but I manage to make it through.

I have spent some time with my sassy child at the lake but boy these days are just so DANG hot and I hate summer.  I was born in Michigan so I am all for some colder weather.  My In laws arrived on Montana today and said it was a cool 73 degrees.  I could see me living there.  I think we should all do a little rain dance to give us some sort of relief from this awful drought. 

Well because of the hot weather we spend a lot of time inside just being lazy.  I have been in a reading frenzy the past 3 weeks and in that 3 weeks I have conquered about 9 books. I recommend them to anyone.  I have realized after reading the risqué trilogy Fifty Shades, I have realized I love me some risky romance.  Some people say it is just “Mommy Porn”, well to some it may but for me it is incredible love story with yes and amazing bedroom life.  I am such an honest open minded person so you just have to take me as I am. 

I have read so many blogs talking about how wrong it is but I think those women are just prudes.  If it isn’t for you then don’t read it.  My husband laughs at me because I always have my kindle with me ready to read.  That has become my nightly routine after putting O to bed, I settle for a quick bath, snuggle up in bed and read till I can no longer hold my eyes open. 

Here is what I have read this past 3 weeks. 

I read this book in less than 24 hours and I absolutely loved it.  It starts with the same story line as Fifty but it takes turn and is a bit more descriptive.  I would have loved it still even if it was tamed down a lot because it is an incredible love story.  Can’t wait till book 2 comes out October 2nd.

okay so this is actually the second book of a Danver’s Novel.  The first, Weekends Required was another beautiful love story with some steamy scenes. LOL this is becoming a pattern.  LOL Love me some smut!

this is another but it is pretty tame but good.

This is more along the lines of Hunger Games I recommend it to everyone.

We recently put up some new insulation in the house and I must say our normal electric bill in the summer is between $250 and $300 a month.  and our biggest one yet has been $181.  I must say it has helped because we have had some killer days.  In that we started re- dry walling our house eventually the whole trailer will be new.  so we started in the kitchen and M and O were not sure of my color choice but it is growing on them.  M decided to put his creativity in effect and it looks awesome

He is so good at what he does, he makes me proud.

Spent some time at my cousin Chris’s graduation party and of course my uncle and his girlfriend have lots of animals. So my child in in seventh Heaven. 

this is a 5 day old baby goat. I will be honest I am turning my wheels to get her a bottle baby.

Work is good I actually get Friday’s off and work 4 tens which works out wonderful for me so I can see M more.  When school starts it will be a mommy day. 

On a suckier note M was here this past weekend and it was one disaster after another.  I have plans  to spray the house for bugs and get all my trees, flowers and bushes set up on a timer because it is such a pain to move the hose fifty times a night.  So we bought some more hoses and timer and got it set up and low and behold my stupid washer decided it was time to call it quits.  I guess our relationship wasn’t working out.  A**hole.  So My handy Dandy husband figured it out and put a new fuse on it and I was oh so happy and I fell in love with him all over again. Ha the little things in a marriage.  Well It was short lived when it popped the fuse again.  Then I was flat pissed.  (not at M) but he was just as made because he changed it again and once again it popped.  Stupid  washer.  It is over your not even worth the effort to fix.  What a wasted 5 years.  Any ways I shopped around and oh my my they are so expensive.  I called about a few in the paper but they were not willing to separate the set.  My friend Alicia told me her husbands friend just got married and had one for sale.  I was hesitant because you never know what you are going to get.  Then one of my sweet babies momma sent my boss a picture of a washer and the lady called me at work and I realized it was the same couple that Alicia told me about.  What a small world.  But it gets even smaller. I then put two and two together and realized who it was and the husband and I use to hang out when I was dating one of my colorful exs back in the day.  Crazy, but it made me feel so much better knowing these two very sweet people would not screw anyone over.  Congrats to them on their marriage I hope you have many blessed years. 

I have enjoyed my lazy 4th of July and I go back to work tomorrow and then 3 days off.  AHHHHHH

As I end this post I have to tell you what my daughter is doing right this second.  My child is Crazy and she has her nail file giving our dogs a pedicure.  LOL wait tills she paints their nails.  I will stop her before that I will not have any drag dogs in my house LOL

Time to catch up I guess!

It has been a busy 3 weeks.  I got really lucky and M got to be home for 3 WHOLE weeks, so I have been preoccupied.  In the 3 weeks we went fishing and swimming A LOT and managed to re drywall the kitchen and paint it.  We started this remodel project about a year and a half ago and took a break to build up some more money.  All that is left for me to do it finish painting and trimming.  Yay!

M and O got to spend a lot of daddy, daughter time while mommy worked.  I have to say it is much easier when he is home just for a couple days because to be honest it was hard when he left.  I Love and miss him EVERYDAY!

Saturday I went to my cousin Chris’s graduation party and I have to say watching all my cousin’s grow up and become adults makes me realize I am getting SOOOO old.  Getting old does not bother me because I will grow old with my best friend.  Yes sappy but I love him.

This last weekend I watched 2 of my friends 3 kiddos and Alicia kept Christian and I had Mitchum and Audrey, I LOVED it!  They we so good and I didn’t have any problems or attitudes. EXCEPT for my only child who never has to share my attention.  Geez I hope she grows out of it SOON! 

Having her kids, I could totally do maybe one more kid.  I want another but I am so scared it will never happen or if it is a good idea.  I am waiting till we can afford insurance. But even then I have tried for 6 years and no such luck.  I am thinking God has a different plan in store for me.  I am cool with that. 

My daughter is the most sweetest, sassiest brat to ever walk the face of the earth.  She keeps me entertained for sure.  I got to have a half day off today and it was such a nice treat.

Well once I find my sd card I will have tons of pictures to upload. Well off to make dinner since I am actually home before 6:30.

Crawfish and Catfish!

So this weekend has been a really good weekend!  Friday I had to work late and when I got home we grabbed a quick bite to eat and put the boat in the water and caught a bunch of perch.  We put out 24 jugs trying to catch some catfish!  We woke up Saturday at 5:15 way to flipping early for a Saturday  and headed out to the lake and was out by 6.  We ended up with 4 catfish, 3 long nose gar and one Bass that ended up dying! Score it was a good trip worth waking up that early.

We then came home and got showered and ready for the annual crawfish boil.  It was so yummy.  We have skipped the past few years but it was still as good as I remember.  Of course when O was 2 or 3, you couldn’t peel them fast enough for her and now she didn’t even try them.  Party POOPER! It was still amazing.  Them off to Wal-Mart Blah to get some more fishing stuff and then off to the lake again.

We launched and headed out!  Our plan was to stay out as late as possible with a 7 year old who got up at 530 and only slept like 10 minutes on the way home.  She did AMAZING.  Giving the fact she swiped my energy drink and took a few gulps.  I swear as soon as it hit her stomach she went CRAZY! It faded quick with a huge crash on the boat and she was out like a light.  She covered up with her blanket and passed out.  We fished a bit more checked our jugs and low and behold we caught a snapping turtle.  He was a small feisty beast.  I decided I was done and wanted to go to bed. 

I hit the bed at about 130 and fell asleep at 330 and woke up at 515 again.  We caught 2 more cats.  So it wasn’t too wasted.  I decided after going to breakfast with my father in law I was exhausted so I hit the hay and slept a couple hours.  Now I am taking a break from helping Matt put up drywall.  We have been doing a little remodeling and insulating the house so we might not have $300 electric bill. 

Funny story I have to tell about a friend who got asked by a guy if she wanted a bite of his banana.  It sounds so funny but really he did actually have a banana.  Just funny stuff and then he ended up being at the crawfish boil I went to Saturday.  When he walked up and said hi I thought I was going to pee myself. 

Anyways I am going to sign off and actually help Matt and get my girl ready for her last few days of school.

Mother’s Day

So my Mother’s Day was pretty darn good this year.  My Hubs surprised me by coming home and spending time with us and O has been in an unusually good mood.  Still not listening real great but oh well she is 7. 

Sunday we spent all day outside.  Well M and O let momma sleep until 1.  Wowza I can’t remember the last time I slept past 830 or 9.  Yes I am blessed with a child that likes to sleep in like her momma.  Thank goodness because I am pretty Grumpy when momma doesn’t get her sleep.  Anyway, we ate some breakfast lunch and headed down the road to the lake.  I Love living a half mile from the lake.  It is pretty quiet at the end of our dirt road for now but once summer hits it gets busy busy!!  We caught a bunch of perch to let go in our pond.  Then decided we would put out s few jugs.  I had the day off Monday so we went out after O got on the bus and checked them.  We caught one really nice Catfish to put in the pond.  Now M is on a hunting kick. 

Today M and I were kind of lazy and then got ready and headed to town.  picked up O and did some running and went to dinner at Colton’s.  It was sooooooo good. 

I am officially back down to a 25 lb loss with my weight watchers.  I gained a half pound last week and lost less than a pound this week.  I guess my lazy butt is going to have to just get up and exercise.  I have kind of hit the point of just the cutting back isn’t fast enough for me.  I do Love the compliments that I get about looking different.

I hope everyone is having a good week.  I am back to work tomorrow and I just would love to spend the rest of the week in my pjs or on the lake, but that is life got some babies to take care of.

Surprise Surprise

So I had the most wonderful surprise this week.  I was all packed and ready to go spend the weekend with my husband and to my surprise he showed up Thursday afternoon at my work.  He is my Christian Grey and I Love him more and more each day.  (Did you really think I would make it through a post without mentioning my new OBSESSION).

Well anyways I got to leave early today (thanks D you are a great friend).  I didn’t sleep good last night so I took a 4 hour nap, ahhhhh it was nice.  We woke up and went out and finished most of the yard work and the neighbor brought their horses down and took O for a ride.  She was in seventh heaven. 

I think we are going to do some riding lessons.

So we are having a bit of a movie night and watching The Underworld Awakening I have found the PERFECT guy for Mr. Christian Grey.  He is so Yummy!!!!

Tomorrow we are going to see The Avengers and my momma is going to go with us. 

I am so happy my man got to come home and it is even better news that he is home for like a week and half. 

That 4 hour nap is really working me over tonight.  1 am and I am still wide awake.

Some Randomness

Okay so I finished my “Fifty Shades”!  How does a book make you feel so lost when it is over.  Yes I am one of those freaks, I admit it I am in Love with Christian Grey!   Bahaha Love you to Matt! Always and Forever. 

So anyways O has been home 2 days with Pink eye and sore throat and cough.  She is doing much much better today.  O and I are catching up on our DVR shows. 

American Idol is so good this year.  I think they are all great!  I like Hollie but Elise should still be here. 

Law and Order SVU, I love love love this show.  I don’t get to watch it as much anymore because O thinks she needs to know what is going on and I don’t think it is appropriate for her.  Maybe Danny Pino could be Christian Grey.  Just a thought he is yummy. 

Okay so yes I am happily married, I love my husband and he likes to make fun of me because I am infatuated with someone who is not real.  LOL

So while waiting to get O’s meds yesterday I shopped a bit and O took some pictures of everything. Maybe when she get a bit older she will be some awesome rich photographer.  A mother can wish!

Got some good news from a friend and prayers were answered.

I am excited about next weekend being Mother’s Day.   I am taking a 3 day weekend to spend with my husband.  I miss him dearly!

Well I am sure once this “Fifty Shade” mass hysteria is over, what will all us mommy’s do?  I have read a blogs that disagree with the how some of us women have become infatuated.  Well sorry that you all disagree but maybe you should open your mind up a bit and let your feelings go.  You never know it could do amazing things for your marriage.  Don’t be so close minded.
