Looking Back in time

In turn of saying goodbye to Grandpa Brown, of course looking through pics brings back old memories and great stories and a lot of laughing. The laughter I think helps you remember the past. Saying good bye is the hardest thing to do in life I think no matter who it is. Looking through pics of the family I came across some that I was just amazed with and I plan on fixing them up and taking the wear and tear off and making some copies for my photo box and one of these days I plan to go through and scrapbook till it's all done. Well enjoy!

In memory of Grandpa Brown "Brownie"

Matthew Grandpa Brown past away May 23rd, 2008. He was 84 years 3 mos and 2 days old. I have gotten to know this man as a very patriotic man over the past 6 years and he is in a better place now where he is in no pain and with the love of his life now Ida Brown. I am sad that I didn't get to know this women. but from the stories and everything that I have heard about her she seemed to be an amazing mother and grandmother and in a sense I feel like I did know her. She raised some amazing kids who in turn raised their kids to be amazing. I am proud to say that I am a part of such a great, amazing, very very close nit family. In this pic is all the siblings Aunt Paula, Uncle Tom, My wonderful mother in law Debbie, Aunt Kay, Grandpa Brown and Aunt Susan. This was taken at the family reunion in 2007.

This is my Favorite Monster of the show. She loved it but was a little timid a first to go up to them. She says "they too big Mamma"!

All in all it was a good show although it was a little disappointing that Gravedigger wasn't there. It is definatly a small show compaired to the races in St. Louis which I would love to take her too sometime soon. It was a very cold windy day but the kids had a blast. Later that day we headed to Branson to ride Go carts. I would have taken pics of that but Olivia wanted to ride with her mamma. Then we headed to the outlet mall to do some shopping of coarse Charli and I were the ones shopping and the guys were waiting patiently outside chasing the kids around. HEHE Then it was off to Cakes and Cream fo some awesome Ice cream and funnel cakes. It was an amazing day and if you ever need a place to stay in Springfield I recommend the Hampton Inn and Suites it is awesome, clean and the beds are sooooooooo soft. Well that's all for now. Soon we will be making a trip to St louis to see family and go to the Zoo there can't wait.
