Breann and Dave Hawkins

Okay so some good friends of ours got married Saturday on very short notice and it was beautiful!! I was very honored that she asked me to take some pics for her. By no means am I a professional but this is one of my biggest hobbies, that is a HOBBY taking pics for a living would not be my cup of tea. I get to frustrated and I still do not know how to use all of my gadgets and settings on my wonderfully confusing camera. I wish someone could teach me because the book is way too confusing. Well on to the happy couple.

We have known Dave and Breann for a couple years now. Dave started out working with Matt and now that we took over the business he works for Matt and he is such a great person and Breann is a wonderful friend as well and I am soo glad we got to know them and become such great friends. So here are some of the shots I got and like I said they aren't professional but it suites me and I think I did okay.

Happy Halloween!!

So Halloween is getting better every year and next year Dana will get to go yay!!! Well we started the night off going to my grandma's house, then off to Aunt Joyce's and then to town it was a long night and we kinda got started early to be able to make the rounds but we have always made it to everyone's house so they could see the girls. Olivia had such a great time and She is such a big girl and wasn't scared at all to go knock on the door and say trick or treat. But the only down fall is that my 3 year old would say thank you and be polite and 95% of the people that hand out the candy never said your welcome. What is wrong with that picture?

Grandpa's 75 birthday party!!

So I am not a good blogger at all really I like looking at other people's more. Recently it was my Gpa's 75 Birthday and we had a get together at my Aunt Joyce's with family. It was so much fun I always love for all the cousins to get together. I remember back when I was young all the get togethers we had with my cousins and it was such great memories I just wish we seen each other more to make more memories. Being with my cousins were some of the best memories in my childhood when I was young we lived so far away I always cherished every minute I had with my cousins even though I was always the youngest I was most of the time included. But now it is all about making memories for all the little ones and I love when they get to spend time with each other which is not very often. Here are some memories of the party and my handsome grandpa.

I LOVE my granparents sooooo much that words cannot describe how much. They are the best a person could ask for. They love their grandkids and more importantly they love visits from their great grandkids it lifts their sprits to be able to see them grow. They have become and important part in Olivia's life and I make every effort to go out of my way to see them when I can. I just love them and could not have asked God to give me better grandparent, Thanks Granny and Grandpa for always being there ang loveing every one of use even when we were being Brats!

Family Reunion

Okay so this past weekend was the family Reunion on Matt's side. It is such a blast! Here are some pics that I got. Friday most everyone started arriving in the evening so we decided to break out the drinks and let's just say some of them got pretty gone. My sister in law Susie had us rolling then we had to figure out how to get her back to my mother inlaws from our house. We live within walking distance but she was not really ready to go but it was getting out of hand. but fun and the next night wasn't as eventful we came home early and put Olivia to bed (I say early but it was like midnight) She had a long weekend and is extremly tired. So now we are all battling a cold, I thought most of it was allergies but we all have sore throats and Olivia is having a hard time sleeping and her poor nose is running like crazy.
All in all it was a great weekend I always have a great time with his family. I am looking forward to going to St Louis in the next couple weeks for a funfilled weekend. We will start out with a all girls night on Friday. His cousin is having party that I am really looking forward to, and the Saturday off to the Mud Fest by the river that is always fun. This family owns like hundreds and hundreds of acres by the river they charge $10 a person, they check all coolers for alcohol, (it started out it was allowed till people started being really freaking stupid) if they find it they take it and you can still get in and if you get caught with it in there you are gone. but they have all different mud pitts you can try to go through, rock climbing, and so on. Last year we went and there was like 4000 people there and it is amazing. This year our truck isn't ready so we will just have my brother in laws Bronco but next year we are hoping to get the tires for our old truck and go have some fun. But just think they do this twice a year and make almost $60,000 each time. There is a business for ya. well hope al is well and here are the pics.

Moving On

Well I think one of the hardest things to learn in life is having to let go of people who turned out to not be who you thought they were. I have been doing a lot of sole searching and thinking if I did something wrong, but then I woke up this morning and realized I just don't care anymore. I am going to make myself happy. I have a awesome family and a wonderful caring husband and beautiful sassy little girl. I LOVE my life and nothing that has happened can change the way I feel!!
I found some quotes that just make it all fall into place:
"Don't worry about people
in your past: There is a reason
they didn't make it to your future!"
I stole this one from Leigha and I really love it!
“Be who you are and say what you feel
because those who mind don't matter
and those who matter don't mind.” Dr Seuss

"The hardest thing in life to learn
is which Bridge to cross and which Bridge to Burn!"

Well now that I am through feeling sorry for myself time to move on with my life!

Summer FUN!!!

So here is what has been going on lots of pool and sprinkler fun. Went out on the pontoon this last weekend my brother and sister in law were here and my neice and nephew stayed this week. So my mother in law and I took them to Silver Dollar City which was fun except for my daughter having a huge missed nap meltdown in one of the stores. But other than that she was really good for not sleeping all day. I am going out on the river on a n all girls float trip this weekend so I can't wait. Hopefully I won't get burnt again I am hurting pretty bad. Then it will be another trip to SDC for Olivia to have a day, It is national Kid's Fest and Veggie tales are there so I want to take her to the show. My 15 year old neice and 11 year old nephew didn't wanna see BoB and Larry. what poopers. Well that's all for now excited about the float trip.

Looking Back in time

In turn of saying goodbye to Grandpa Brown, of course looking through pics brings back old memories and great stories and a lot of laughing. The laughter I think helps you remember the past. Saying good bye is the hardest thing to do in life I think no matter who it is. Looking through pics of the family I came across some that I was just amazed with and I plan on fixing them up and taking the wear and tear off and making some copies for my photo box and one of these days I plan to go through and scrapbook till it's all done. Well enjoy!
